In the highly interactive workshop, attendees will discover how to improve their business presentation, networking and interpersonal communication skills. They
will learn easy-to-remember tips, tricks and formulas to give them the confidence to speak up and the skills to stand out.

Paul Barton works with business professionals who are going places and don’t want public speaking to be the reason they are held back in their careers. Paul helps you gain the confidence to speak up and the skills to stand out so that you can command an audience. Paul also is a sought-after speaker and a top-rated instructor at several area colleges. He has helped hundreds of people achieve their public speaking goals.

With a long history in the corporate world, Paul knows what it takes to make a great business presentation. Before launching his own company, Paul had a successful 20-year career leading communication teams at six fast-growing Fortune 500 corporations including APS, Phelps Dodge Mining Company, America West Airlines, PetSmart, Hawaiian Airlines, and Avnet. Those experiences led him to write what is now the No. 1 book on internal communication on Amazon.

Paul is accredited by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and he is a member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) of Arizona. He is listed in the Phoenix Better Business Bureau Speaker’s Bureau and he is a workshop partner with the Phoenix Business Journal. Paul has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Iowa State University and a Master’s degree in Communication from Hawaii Pacific University.

For 2019 the FMPG (Facility Manager's Peer Group) will be facilitating meetings after the regularly scheduled member meeting/tours to review best practices in a roundtable discussion.  It is hoped that this will provide a valuable set of data to the participants and the FM Community in general.  Only Facility Manaagers can attend.
