The Greater Phoenix Chapter of IFMA (International Facility Management Association) has a Young Professional Group (YPG) for members who are 35 years old or younger, and who are just starting out in the facility management industry. The YPG aims to provide young professionals with opportunities for networking, professional development, and mentorship within the industry.

Some of the benefits of joining the YPG include:

  •  Networking: YPG members can network with other young professionals in the facility management industry, as well as with experienced professionals in the Greater Phoenix Chapter of IFMA.
  • Professional development: The YPG provides opportunities for young professionals to learn about new trends and best practices in facility management through educational events and seminars.
  • Mentorship: YPG members have the opportunity to be mentored by experienced professionals in the Greater Phoenix Chapter of IFMA, which can help them develop their careers.
  • Leadership opportunities: YPG members can take on leadership roles within the group, which can help them develop their leadership skills and gain valuable experience.
  • Community involvement: The YPG is involved in community service projects, which can help members develop a sense of social responsibility and give back to the community.

MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

Young Professional Members and Student Chapter Members-
The Young Professionals Group offers a Mentorship Program for our Young Professional Members and Student Chapter Members to connect with a seasoned Facilities Professional for guidance, best practice sharing, career coaching and facilities education. 

Professional Member Mentors (FM/FM related):
This program creates an opportunity to create an impact on growing/aspiring FM candidates. We are looking for mentors for this program who are interested in helping the Young Professionals and Students in the following categories but not limited to:

Technical
Credential
Networking
