The Membership Committee is an important part of any organization or chapter that is responsible for managing its membership. The committee's primary role is to oversee the recruitment and retention of members, as well as ensure that existing members receive the support and resources they need to fully engage with the organization.

The membership committee is responsible for reaching out to new members with support in navigating the Chapter as well as planning and executing bi-annual new member orientations.

The committee meets monthly. For more information about this committee, contact the Committee Chairs.

Frequently asked questions:

Q:  How much are dues?

A:  Annual dues for IFMA base membership (required) and Greater Phoenix Chapter membership are as follows-
Professional Member (Facility Manager/Facility Related): $239 IFMA base dues + $120 Chapter dues = $359
Associate Member (Vendor/Sales): $239 IFMA base dues + $150 Chapter dues = $389

Q:  Are memberships transferable?

A: No. Membership with IFMA is individually based. In other words, membership belongs to a person as opposed to a company. Active memberships stay with the member.

Q:  Are monthly member meeting or other event admissions included in annual dues?

A:  No.  Meeting and event attendance fees are not included in dues and are paid individually in the meeting and event registrations.

Q: What is the best way to make the most out of my membership?

A:  The best way to make the most of your membership is to be involved!  Attending monthly member meetings, social events, career enhancement events are a great way to increase your connections and learn valuable information about the Facility Management Profession. Also, joining a committee is a great way to support the Chapter and the Profession. Our committees are always looking for motivated members with great new ideas!
