Community Outreach
The IFMA Phoenix Community Outreach Committee provides a safe environment for individuals to collaborate about common community issues and challenges. This committee is focused on serving a variety of organizations that range in services and other forms of community involvement. Each year the committee identifies community needs and organizes events for the IFMA Phoenix Chapter organization to get involved. This committee’s key responsibilities include the following:
- To provide service opportunities within the IFMA Phoenix Organization which encourage social responsibility, community involvement, and thoughtful action.
- Establish key relationships with local charity organizations and work in partnership with these organizations to help focus the efforts of our volunteered time, money and/or services.
- Develop, promote and provide service opportunities in the areas of environment, youth, special needs, literacy, senior citizens, health, hunger, homelessness and other community issues.
- Strive to foster an energized and caring organization by facilitating outreach opportunities for people to serve our community.
